In agreement with the intelligent arguments so eloquently put
forth
by the folks at Attrition.Org ,
I've decided that The Ancient Pond should be a
faster
loading site, and keep the animated graphics and getOps to a
minimum.
Though I like their stark, anarchistic, red on black motif, it's a wee
bit too stark and anarchistic for me. I also like tables.
It's still gonna be faster than those d@mn3d flash sites. You
don't
need javascript here, but it makes things a little more interesting...
